About The Designer
Zwolski Enterprises LLC developed from the desires of one ambitious woman’s passion for design. Kristin Zwolski, founder and designer, inadvertently sought out design opportunities in each project she encountered. Mending turned into altering; serving dinner became the likes of culinary arts; and contact information for vacations became advertisements for the hotels.
What Started It All
At a wedding reception one summer, Kristin sat among the usual groups of wedding guests waiting for the bride and groom to arrive. The friends and family closest to the couple could be identified by their running around while the extended family and friends sat sprinkled about, awaiting the start of the celebration. The union of two individuals is an incredibly beautiful thing; unfortunately, the mingling of all of the various important people in the couples lives can create a sense of awkwardness for some of the beloved guests.
A determined individual, Kristin was inspired to create a practical yet tasteful wedding favor that wedding guests would cherish and remember; a favor that would promote communication and bring guests together. One thing Kristin had learned from the waiting at receptions was to bring a deck of playing cards. No matter who was seated with whom, everyone had a favorite card game. Regrettably, decks of cards generally do not fit in with the décor of a lovely reception setting. Adding up these factors, Kristin took it as a personal challenge and designed the first ever completely wedding themed deck of cards. The result: a stunning and yet sensible wedding favor to encourage interaction among guests.
Background
Kristin currently resides in Minnesota working as a Marketing Assistant for a major investment firm in Downtown Minneapolis. Meanwhile, she is continuing her education in her studies of advertising, layouts, and graphic design.
Kristin grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis eager to develop the talents entrusted to her. She started her studies of graphic design while just in middle school, and continued later into high school and college. Kristin grew up with encouraging parents and two sisters, all to whom she is very close. For hobbies, Kristin enjoys physical activities such as kick-boxing, dancing, and basketball; she also spends countless hours scrapbooking and creating other detailed crafts.
